Fairness
Market integrity
How we keep Kalsshi a fair, trustworthy place to forecast.
Surveillance
Every trade and limit order is logged. Our automated checks flag obvious patterns — wash trading between linked accounts, suspicious bursts of volume, repeated self-trading, and coordinated swings — for human review. Findings show up in the admin dashboard.
No insider trading
Trading on material, non-public information about a market's outcome undermines the platform for everyone. It's prohibited regardless of whether real money is on the line.
- Insiders at companies with markets on their results, earnings, or product launches
- Officials with privileged access to economic data, election counts, or sports scoring
- Anyone in possession of confidential information that fixes the outcome
Resolution sources
Every market lists the source we'll use to decide the outcome — usually a public government data feed, an official sports body, or a major news wire. If a source is ambiguous or unavailable, the market is voided and stakes are returned to participants.
Multi-account abuse
Creating multiple accounts to farm signup bonuses, manipulate prices, or evade bans is a violation of our terms. We use IP, device, and behavioural signals to detect it; confirmed cases forfeit any bonus balance and may be banned. See our terms of service.
