Regulatory status

No real money is being handled today

At this time Kalsshi does not accept real-money deposits or process real-money withdrawals. Account balances are used solely to place trades inside the platform.

Because no real money currently changes hands, Kalsshi is not registered or supervised as a Designated Contract Market (DCM), Derivatives Clearing Organization (DCO), securities exchange, or licensed gambling operator in any jurisdiction. We are also not a member of any deposit-insurance scheme such as FDIC.

Path to real-money trading

Before we enable real-money deposits or withdrawals we will pursue the appropriate regulatory licence in the jurisdictions we serve, and announce the change publicly with at least 30 days' notice. We will not silently flip a switch.

• Honest, fair markets — see our market integrity page.
• Resolution that follows the published criteria for each market.
• Transparent moderation. Reports go to a queue reviewed by humans.
• Plain-language disclosures (this page!) about what Kalsshi is and isn't.
